NATURAL STONE: 

There isn’t actually any limitation for size, weight, and thickness of natural stone quarried from the Earth. In the consumer market, however, it typically comes in two sizes including full-size block and veneer size. The former is often used for full-dimension coverage around the size of one or two retaining wall blocks. For veneer-style covering, the stone is cut into multiple slices at ¾-inch to 1¾-inch thick. The face size also varies depending on the type of the stone, but it usually stops at around 18-inch diameter. When it comes to weight, natural stone is much heavier than the manufactured ones.
